Thank you. You sure went out of your way to accommodate us and we very much enjoyed our recent stay. My sister Glenys is doing very well and has had an uneventful recovery. We were so pleased to see magnolia trees in bloom as we don't have any in Thunder Bay. Have a good summer everyone. The residents at Durand Residence all seem to be very well looked after. If we need to return to St. Joseph's we will call again and book a room.

Words cannot express how deeply appreciative I am for all you did for my dad. Thank you is just not enough. I hope everyone enjoys this token. Dad would be happy knowing this gift was sent.

To each and everyone of you at Durand from administration, nursing and housekeeping to dietary and maintenance - thank you very much. Your caring and compassion during our mother's short stay was more appreciated than you know.
- Carol M.
Just a short note to thank you and your staff for the considerate care and help during my mother's stay. Without your involvement our transition to long term care would have been much more difficult.
- Thanks again, G.P.
Thank you for the thoughtful gift. I enjoy playing the piano for the residents at Durand. I pray my eyes and hands co-operate.

"Wow, that's exactly what I wanted!"
Over and over again our teams heard children say these words as we delivered gifts to them this Christmas. While economists tell us that things are getting better, that news has not reached many families living in poverty. The City Kidz Christmas party and the gifts we have had the privilege of delivering to so many homes is the only Christmas that happens for some of our families.
Through supporting the Gift of Christmas 2010 campaign, you helped make all of this possible.
Your donation of 28 toys helped us make an impact on over 3,500 children this Christmas! You have been a partner in showing deserving children that they matter and that their community cares for and about them.
We are already beginning to plan the Gift of Christmas 2011 Campaign and we look forward to partnering with you again this year. Thanks again for your support, for making a difference!

On behalf of Catholic Family Services of Hamilton, I wish to thank you for your recent donation of $452.00 which was used to purchase Christmas food/gifts for some of our deserving families. It is donations such as yours which help us to continue our work of "Making Life Better for the Community" and showed the true spirit of Christmas. Your support of Catholic Family Services is greatly appreciated.

We would like to express our sincere thanks to the staff and support workers for the kind care given to our mother during her stay with you. Your kindness and understanding in dealing with the times she was unsettled are greatly appreciated. We only wish that she could have continued residing at Durand but her health did not permit it.

I wanted to take a minute to comment on the sign you had out front on Herkimer Street which read "Things will be fine in 2009". I can't tell you how many times I stopped at that red light on my way home from work and glanced over at that sign. Believe it or not, it always makes me stop to re-evaluate whatever garbage might taken place at work that day, or the problems I will be facing when I get home. It is a very good mantra to keep repeating, and to help re-focus myself. I am not sure who thought to put it up there but I think that it was really great. Take care and God bless.

Although I have also expressed in writing my pleasure at receiving such a wonderful "Keep in Touch" luncheon . . . I want to say the idea carried out by Durand was original and successful in every way. My friends made many good comments and enjoyed their visit to Durand.

Please allow us, on behalf of the young patients, families and staff, to extend our heartfelt appreciation for your support of McMaster Children's Hospital.
. . . Your dedication to pediatric healthcare in this community resulted in a record breaking finish to our McMaster Children's Hospital Celebration. Your gift along with many other gifts received in the past year, were among the many donations recognized during this annual broadcast.
. . . Thank you once again for your support of children's healthcare in our community.
- VP Development, McMaster Children's Hospital
